Tiny Solo Starfighter V1.4.2


This version has a complete layout change, which I think looks a bit cleaner. The tables and text have been condensed to create space for the new optional rules and the tech tree layout of the Starbase table.

Salvage has been reduced to 3 items to simplify crafting (as suggested by eyeleveleye on the Korg discord) and there is a free choice of item when you roll a 5 which helps reduce the randomness a bit.

Rules have been updated to remove ambiguities in the combat system and the Flee rule has been changed to the more sci-fi sounding Evade. You can now Evade combat or a trap (also thanks to eyeleveleye). New Optional rules include a +1 Alert on a successfully Evade role due to the enemy being aware of your presence. This adds a risk element to Evade, as the difficulty increases rapidly as your opponents become more deadly. This combined with the optional Tech Tree rule makes the early part of the game much harder! 

Hornet and Scavenger have been swapped on the Patrol table to make Scavenger special ability a more enticing offer. The Command Nexus enemy is now the Comms Nexus. I've tried to clarify the Hiveship special but it's hard in the space available. It should be that when you destroy the Hiveship it becomes deadly wreckage (a 3 damage Trap) when it is encountered from then on.
