Rats, Chasms & Cave-ins supplement + version 1.2 update


Ever thought empty rooms are a bit boring? A nice safe space  with no nasty surprises? Just a wasted opportunity? Well not any more, here's a little business card micro supplement for Tiny Solo Crypt Delver with some environmental hazards to spice things up. Every time you find an empty room roll a d6 on this 33 word business card sized table to see if you encounter nasty rats (d2), a gaping chasm in your way or a cave-in blocking your way back. The rat is a new swarm monster and the cave-in and chasms are traps with added consequence for your path through the dungeon. 

This is the first of three supplements I've got planned for the game. Look out for Blessings of the Old Gods and Tiny Solo Quests soon.

I've also done a minor game update:

  • Increased the cost of hiring monsters again as even the wimpiest little goblin can make the game a lot safer. 
  • Increased the XP cost of levelling up for the same reason.
  • Changed the Map section on the playsheet to a dot grid and improved the crypt entrance 'art'.
  • Produce a rules only version that you can glue into the front of a grid square note book.
