d8 rats were a bad idea + version 1.3


The d8 x rats(d2) in the Rats, Chasms and Cave-ins add-on were way overpowered. iIf you got unlucky and rolled 8 rats the minimum damage they could do in a turn was 8 which meant you'd need to roll a couple of exploding 6's to make a dent in them. After playing around I figured d4 rats gave the right balance so I've updated the add-on to reflect this. 

I've also done some more tinkering with the playsheet which is now at version 1.3:

  • Swapped over the map and adventure log pages. 
  • Reduced the size of the map area and increased the log area
  • Provided 3 recruits character blocks 
  • Clarified the recruit monster rules
  • Reduced top and bottom margins  to give more play space
